Built for better park days

About ParkScope

ParkScope turns live theme park data into clear, useful context so you can understand what is happening in the parks and make smarter decisions before and during your day.

What ParkScope is

ParkScope is an independent theme park companion built around the information guests actually use: live attraction wait times, park hours, attraction status and closures, crowd conditions, showtimes, dining information, downtime and reliability insights, weather context, forecasts, and planning tools.

Instead of making you piece together a park day from disconnected sources, ParkScope is designed to organize those signals into one fast, approachable experience across Apple devices and the web.

Our mission

Make theme park data easier to understand, more useful in the moment, and genuinely helpful in planning a better day.

That means focusing on context, not just numbers. A posted wait time is more useful when you can understand the park around it. A closure matters more when you can see its history. A forecast is more useful when it helps set realistic expectations. ParkScope is built to turn raw park information into something people can act on.

What we care about

Useful over noisy

ParkScope is designed to surface information that can change a decision, not overwhelm you with data simply because it exists.

Context over snapshots

Current conditions matter, but history, trends, reliability and timing help explain what those conditions actually mean.

Independent by design

ParkScope is not operated by or affiliated with the theme parks it covers. The goal is to provide a focused, guest-first view of park information.

Built to keep improving

The parks change constantly. ParkScope evolves with new data, new planning tools and better ways to understand the day ahead.

The ParkScope YouTube channel

The ParkScope YouTube channel takes the same curiosity behind the app into the parks. It covers construction and attraction updates, changes around the resorts, seasonal event preparation, major project progress, and other developments worth seeing firsthand.

The channel also gives ParkScope a place to go beyond the data — showing what is physically changing in the parks, explaining what we are watching, and sharing the real-world context behind the experiences guests care about.

Behind ParkScope

Hello Freinds, I'm Alan

ParkScope started from a simple idea: theme park guests have access to more data than ever, but the useful story is often buried across different places. I created ParkScope to bring that information together, make it easier to understand, and build the kind of park app that I wanted to use myself.

That same approach carries into my YouTube channel. I observe what is changing, document it clearly, and give people useful context without unnecessary hype.

With over 20 years in the amusement and themed entertainment industry, both working within Park Operations and as an enthusiast (Like many of you!), I wanted to bring my professional experiences of oeprations and technology together in order to create soemthing truely useful and helpful for people. That is what ParkScope is all about. Thank you for checking it out, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
